1/3rd of the band is in New Zealand, 1/3rd is in Greece and the remaining 1/3rd has just moved house – it’s a hard life in an aspiring rock band is it not ?

Unplugged Set

The band are currently rehearsing an unplugged set of their own material plus some well chosen (and surprising) cover versions of songs they like – there will be some surprises in there I’m sure.

The current plan is to play the unplugged set live around Christmas time as a Christmas treat for all Syruss fans and music fans in general, though its likely that it will be auditioned at a few well chosen live warm-up gigs leading upto the festive period.

The credits page has been udated on the website at last – musicians! I don’t know.
Naturally this will be a living page on the site as the guys start to do more things and work with more people.

The Syruss Channel on YouTube is now up and running.

Currently it contains 2 playlists: “Live Performance” showing the band performing “Waiting for My Life To Begin” at the Plymouth Hippo and “Live Webcast” showing 10 live tracks recently performed as part of a live webcast from April Media studios in Plymouth.

April Media Recording Studio

The band will be performing a selection of their songs live in the form of a streamed webcast from the April Media recording studios in Plymouth on Tuesday 22nd June 2010. The webcast will be broadcast live on air from 8pm, finishing around 10pm. As well as a live audio feed there will be a live video feed too.

We will edit and post the video tracks for streaming from the website after the even. We also plan on making the audio available from the site as a podcast sometime after the webcast – subscribe to our feed for more updates on this and other hot news.
